Hopefully many of you saw our social media posts on Instagram and Facebook (Days for Girls SW Boise Team) about the amazing period product donations that the 5th - 8th grade students at St. Joe's donated to our SW Boise team. In case you didn't, here's a portion of the email from their health teacher, Katie Patrick:
..."A huge shoutout to all of our amazing students -- you showed what kindness, awareness, and action can achieve..."

And this from Reese: "During this drive, I realized how blessed I am to have access to feminine hygiene products. I learned that so many women and girls aren't so lucky. Period poverty is affecting so many people worldwide and in our community. It is important that we step up and do our best to make a change and to end period poverty. This is exactly what we did at St. Joe's! During our drive, we collected so many items that will help so many girls. I am happy our school is taking the steps to normalize periods and to help end poverty."
To make this even more impactful, our Days for Girls friend and teammate, Gwen Bomert, calculated the approximate breakdown of this donation: ~$3,818!!!
St. Joe's, we are so thankful for this wonderful, thoughtful donation of period products!
